Learn to write
If you can master only one skill in your life, I strongly recommend it to be writing.
You don’t have to write Pulitzer-winning pieces to be a good writer. You just need to understand the language well enough to get ideas across through writing. You don’t even need to write in perfect form of the language. A good writer can use fewest or simplest words to help most people understand the most complex stuff.
How to be a good writer? Read more if you can, or listen more. Basically, be more observant.
Writing has been one of more sought after skills since the invention of languages. You can make a living by writing for people, from blog posts to sales proposals, to publishing your own book if you are ambitious enough!
If you are game enough, you can even hangout in front of immigration office and help people fill in immigration forms! I see people do that and earn $5-$10 a pop! Not bad for a 5-minute work! (You don’t even need to be creative!)
Basically, once you have mastered the skill of writing, you will never go hungry!
